Park at the Tronchetto and take a waterbus into the main town; journey time 30 mins.
By taxi
Outside the airport terminal to Piazzale Roma; journey time 30 mins; cost EUR 25.
By bus
There are two buses from Marco Polo Airport to Piazzale Roma, the Blue Bus
(30 mins - cost EUR 2.50 - purchase ticket from driver) or the No 5 (50 mins - cost EUR 0.80 -
ticket from terminal newsagent). Buses leave from outside the airport terminal. Always validate
your ticket by punching it in the machines provided.
Train
The airport connects to the nearby railway stations of Venice-Santa Lucia and Mestre-Venice by scheduled bus
service. Bus connections run between the Venice-Santa Lucia railway station and the airport. From the Venice-Santa
Lucia railway station, find the Piazzale Roma square which is 10 minutes on foot crossing the "Ponte Degli Scalzi"
bridge. Here you find the bus line to the Marco Polo airport.
